It has been through photography that I have found a way of understanding myself better.
Being in front of the camera or having other women in front of mine, has been a lesson of acceptance for me.
An exercise of looking at myself, an opportunity to go beyond my personal world and consider how the outside world sees me.
These practices of seeing myself has done a lot for me on being me and fortunately, along this process I have realized
it did not only helped myself but also other women.
Being in contact with other females; led me to the conclusion that a lot of questions I had were also the same for others.
From this thought, I have decided that what I was doing should be shared with other people. It was through this process that I had found the subjects I wanted
to work on: the observation of the human body in itself and its behavior, the study of the feminine, not only trough self-portraits and portraits
but also considering what femininity could be having it as a concept that goes beyond gender.
We all have stories to be told. The essence of womankind cannot exist from individuality; it must belong to the collective.
